Louise Debaecker Quintet

Since she was a little girl, Louise has never been able to choose, so why now! At the crossroads between French variety, jazz and pop music, she proposes a journey starting from the Vendée coast of her childhood, passing through the warmth of a jazz club to end the night on the Parisian quays. Guided by her voice and her iodized texts, her music likes to tell daily stories, dreamed memories and old fables.

Louise Debaecker fell into music as a child. At the age of 4, she met Jo le Cello (her cello) who quickly became her faithful musical travel companion. With him, she discovered classical music at the conservatory where she took her classes, then improvisation and jazz. Lulled by her father's records, from Led Zeppelin to Crosby Still and Nash via the Beatles, and Bach's chorales, Louise developed an eclectic curiosity and taste in music. While finishing her studies in philosophy, she studied jazz, singing, vocal improvisation and jazz cello at the American School of Modern Music and then at the CRD in Bobigny.
