The Great American Songbook

The Great American Songbook is an informal collection compiling many of these popular American songs from the first half of the 20th century. It includes thousands of pieces, more or less known today, written by hundreds of composers. Among these composers the best known are Irving Berlin, George Gershwin, Cole Porter and Fats Waller.
