Franck Nicolas, trumpeter and shell player, puts his virtuosity at the service of emotion. An alchemist of sounds, he succeeded in creating a new style of music in New York in 2002: jazz-ka (a mixture of jazz and traditional Guadeloupean drum, the "Ka"). 20 years later, still in an insatiable quest for novelty, he created POP-KA, which brings together: ka, Konk (shells), jazz, spirituality, singing, and popular music.
