Marta Sierra Quartet

Marta Sierra, a violinist from Barcelona, has been performing for several years and has made a name for herself with her group "Hot Club Swing Jazz Sound". With a warm sound and an approach to improvisation in the tradition of the great Stéphane Grappelli, she interprets American jazz standards with continental accents, the most popular music of Paris and Europe in the 1930s and 1940s, as well as gypsy jazz tunes and standards from the French chanson repertoire.
The project that Marta presents today is composed of a selection of pieces from her two albums. Her first album, "Paris Connection", was released in 2022; her second album, "C-Jam Blues", recorded with the famous gypsy jazz guitarist Yorgui Loeffler, in 2023.
