A brilliant improviser with a formidable sense of swing, Costel Nitescu is undoubtedly the best gypsy jazz violinist today. It becomes difficult not to meet him on the biggest stages where he tirelessly walks his bow whether with Tchavolo Schmitt, or alongside Mandino Reinhardt, Angelo Debarre or in the company of Marcel Loeffler or Stochelo Rosenberg.
