When ELISA JO appears in 2013, we say to ourselves that we are facing an artist who is not cold-hearted.

She sings since childhood, which certainly explains this captivating vocal presence of this first album of color Pop Blue Eyed Soul, in a fluid and assured English.

Benjamin Biolay, struck by his voice and his quality of interpretation, decides to make his 1st album Colours in my mind. We also discover, Nekfeu for a featuring on one of these titles, while this one has not yet touched the light.

 

In his 2nd album KICKS, ELISA JO actually see all the colors at the Great American Songbook, putting his fingers in the socket!

With its slightly scratched voice, ELISA JO embodies these standards with sensuality and animality in a new light, ignoring the habits linked to the iconic interpretation of a Nina Simone, a Franck Sinatra or Ella Fitzgerald to name a few.
