Over the years, pianist/composer Jérémy Bruger has forged a solid reputation for himself, thanks to a string of highly acclaimed concerts and three trio albums to his credit: "Jubilation" (2013), "Reflections" (2016) and "Moods" (2020), an exquisitely moody anthology of compositions and covers of standards. An opportunity for him to showcase his talent as a musician and the richness of his writing, for jazz with a modern, refreshing tone.
For his new quartet album, Pathways, he has surrounded himself with some of the leading lights of the new jazz wave. They include Thomas Gaucher on guitar, Gabriel Pierre on double bass and Malte Arndal on drums. A muscular, perfectionist band brimming with ideas that has nothing to envy the hype combos of the Big Apple!
