Viviane Ginapé Invites Mario Canonge

Viviane Ginapéhonorates the rhythmic support of the text, the original lyrics as well as the "scat" or the vocal improvisation. She owes her love for jazz to Ella Fitzgerald, Louis Armstrong, Sarah Vaughan, whom she performs with passion. EricDolphy, Tania Maria, Milton Nascimento and Richie Beirach have added their Latin touch of color to his musical palette. Singer and teacher recognized in vocal expression and improvisation approach, the dynamism of the lyrics has a central place in her work as well as the field of possibilities offered by scat and vocal improvisation. Alternately, percussive, instrumental or fortune teller, Viviane's voice is fully invested in the present moment and never ceases to surprise us!

Each date is an opportunity for her to invite a pianist or a guitarist: Antoine Delprat, Jacques Boutineau, Alain Ginapé and of course Alain Jean-Marie and Mario Canonge, with whom she also produced in 2015 an album around the compositions of Michel Legrand.
