Festival Au Fil Des Voix

The encounter between Aziz Sahmaoui (University of Gnawa), a guardian of Gnawa art, and Eric Longsworth, a composer, cellist, and explorer, could only result in an extraordinary musical complicity! Accompanied by Adhil Mirghani on percussion, they unveil in the project "Il fera beau demain matin jusqu’à midi" titles infused with North African musical traditions, jazz, folk, or blues, sung in Arabic, French, or English.

But regardless of the language in which they are interpreted, the texts are always poetic, magnified by the plucked and bowed strings of Eric's cello and by Adhil's percussion. The trio takes us deep into a musical narrative between Morocco, the United States, and France.
