Olivier Laisney 4Tet Invite Magic Malik

Olivier Laisney, trumpet player and leader of the groups Slugged and Yantras (feat. Magic Malik), now plays music that blends jazz, hip-hop and contemporary music.

He has developed a written and improvised language based on Olivier Messiaen's modes with limited transpositions, as well as tonal signatures, a harmonic system created by Magic Malik.
