Magic Malik Orchestra

A true figure of French jazz, Malik Mezzadri (known as Magic Malik) is an outstanding composer and musician, who continues to develop his creative universe through multiple projects. Hypersensitive, intelligent, adventurous and gifted, for several decades, this virtuoso and always surprising flautist has charted a career path where the concern of the artist yields nothing to that of courageous aesthetic and spiritual research. After a long break from the Magic Malik Orchestra that he founded 24 years ago, the Magic Malik Orchestra returns to the stage in 2023 during exclusive concerts at the Baiser Salé and renews its residency in 2024 which takes us back to the significant moments of more than 20 years of history which revisits the emblematic repertoire and introduces us to its new titles This year on June 21, 2024, the second opus of the Jazz Association recorded live at the Baiser Salé in Paris is released on the b.records label.
