A breath on the steppes of Central Asia, percussion in the bustling streets of Caracas, or the blue domes of Samarkand's mosques. These are just some of the impressions gathered by pianist-composer Alexis Bajot-Nercessian during his travels, and which inform the compositions of the group LOWN. An effervescent contemporary jazz that's sure to make you travel.

LOWN develops an atmospheric universe, a prism of colors ranging from the Orient to Latin America, elegantly blending into a contemporary jazz setting. Accessible and uncluttered, their music is fluid and melodic, with no compromise on the demands of daring metrics.

The group returns to the stage with a brand-new repertoire, following their acclaimed debut album, released in February 2021 (Jazz à la Défense 2018 finalists).
