Citizen X — Vistel, Orland, Gambourg & Kontomanou

This “supergroup” showcases the combined talents of Jorge Vistel, Jonathan Orland, Shimon Gambourg and Donald Kontomanou.

These seasoned soloists and sidemen show a certain restraint in a project built entirely on collaboration and interaction. And the chemistry is palpable!

Inspired by the legendary alto/trumpet pairs, this group celebrates its multinational composition with a particularly varied repertoire.

Original compositions tinged with klezmer music, pieces by Wayne Shorter and arrangements of piano pieces by Scriabin are just some of the nuggets the listener will hear in this first quartet concert.
