La Belle Ivresse

LA BELLE IVRESSE is a traditional Quebec music duo that brings together Corentin Boizot-Blaise (violin, vocals, podorythmy) and Colin Delzant (cello). Inspired by the euphoria of Quebec vigils and sessions, the duo celebrates and transforms this music by constantly oscillating between the codes of tradition and an irresistible desire to reshape the framework. Sometimes festive, sometimes intimate, slightly distorted, the sound of LA BELLE IVRESSE creates a meeting space where the trance of reels mixes with the confidence of evening songs; tunes from archives, or more recent compositions.
