Louise Ausseill is a jazz singer of Spanish origin. Her first inspirations came from the coast of Barcelona.

However, Louise was soon drawn to Afro-American culture, which led her to imagine an artistic project exploring the paths of jazz and soul. Swing, pop and even funk intersect, always linked by an acoustic sound reminiscent of traditional jazz.

Saxophone, piano, double bass and drums bring this project to life. In their quest for sincerity, the quintet favors simplicity in both written music and improvisation. The result is a rich and varied repertoire with a very personal flavour.
The influences of artists such as Fats Waller, Horace Silver, Etta James and Gregory Porter can be heard.

Louise Ausseill: vocals, compositions
Lucas Gaudin: saxophone
Garspard Berton: piano
Yann Athanase: double bass
Chloé Jalquin: drums
