Julia Perminova Trio

The Julia Perminova Trio, led by the brilliant pianist and composer Julia Perminova, originally from Siberia and now living in Paris, is an explosive mix of modern jazz, fusion and romantic classical.
The trio's story began in Amsterdam five years ago, when Julia met Portuguese drummer Luís Possollo and German bassist Josef Zeimetz. Since then, their alchemy has been sparking on stages across Europe and South America. In 2023, they released their new album Freedom, an ode to the human struggle for freedom, with a few guests who bring their grain of salt to this unique musical cocktail.
Julia has established herself on the international scene by winning several international jazz competitions in Spain, Portugal and Romania, and has shared the stage with big names such as the NDR Big Band, Lionel Loueke, Ronie Cuber, Miguel Zenon, and many others. The trio is distinguished by a captivating groove and Julia's captivating piano playing, making them a staple of contemporary jazz.
