Created in 2015, Jessie Lee & The Alchemists is a modern blues-rock quintet co-led by singer-guitarist Jessie Lee and guitarist-composer Alexis "Mr AL" Didier, supported by bassist Laurent Cokelaere, drummer Stéphane Minana and organist Laurian Daire.

The band's Anglo-Saxon influences are very broad, ranging from blues to rock, through soul, pop and even jazz. The music they create is modern, original, nourished by traditions, combining emotion, freedom and power. A surprising alchemy.

Qualified as a «hope of the European blues scene», winners of 5 awards at the International Mississippi Blues Trail challenge in 2018 and winners of the France Blues 2019 challenge, The alchemists see the doors of Europe open to them and are very popular with the public.  Their second album " Let it shine" was released by Dixiefrog in 2021. Mixed by the famous Kevin Shirley entirely in analog, as well as mastering by Globe Audio to stay true to the musical influences that inspired the writing, the album is powerful and surprising.

It is followed by a European tour, punctuated by a place in the top 5 at the European Blues Challenge 2022 in Malmö (Sweden) and an audience more than conquered during the first part of Jeff Beck in July 2022 at L'Olympia (Paris).
