With this fantastic quartet, you can discover songs and standards revisited and reharmonized by Sébastien Jarrousse and Pierre de Bethmann, offering a new interpretation and a contemporary perspective accentuated by their mastery of improvisation. A veritable fountain of youth for all jazz afficionados!
Renowned for his mastery of the soprano and tenor saxophones and his talent as an arranger, Sébastien Jarousse graduated in 2002 from François Janneau's class at the CNSM in Paris, and quickly established himself on the French and international jazz scene. He joined François Jeanneau's jazz class at the CNSM de Paris, graduating in 2002. Well-known on the French and international jazz scenes, Sébastien Jarrousse has also frequently performed in the big band of renowned German trombonist Albert Mangelsdorf, before leading the Franco-German Tentet himself since October 2010 (supported by the OFAJ). Winner of the soloist prize at the Trophées du Sunside in 2003, he is also the leader, composer and arranger of the Celtic jazz album by the “Sébastien Jarrousse Sextet”, multi-primed at the Festival international de Jazz de La Défense in 2004.
