From pop/folk music to soul and gospel, Brazilian music, and jazz standards, Elisabeth introduces us to her world through a repertoire of covers and compositions, accompanied only by the double bass of the fantastic Marie Véto.
Initially drawn to contemporary music, Elisabeth Salaün gradually learned vocal jazz with singers Monica Passos, Emi Oshima, Guylenn Delassus, and Déborah Tanguy. During her training, completed in 2015 (DEM jazz singing), she had the opportunity to work with Carine Bonnefoy and David Patrois, and to meet her mentor, pianist and accordionist Patrick Villanueva.
Eager to create her own jazz, she founded the ELISABETH SALAÜN Project, a vocal jazz/fusion quartet in which she develops an eclectic repertoire inspired by her various musical influences. Double bassist, composer and arranger, Leïla Soldevila is currently involved in numerous musical projects in styles as diverse as jazz, improvised music, traditional music, pop and French song. She is fond of artistic creations that combine diverse universes. The adventures she shares with the group "Altouras" (melody & painting), or with various dance, musical comedy or theater companies contribute to this momentum and enrich her colors and her musical style.
