Srdjan Ivanovic ‘Modular’

Born in Bosnia, raised in Greece, now living in Paris, drummer Srdjan Ivanovic presents “Modular”, his first album under his own name, with a star-studded, intergenerational line-up.
Forged in the Balkans and admirably blending the sensibilities of East and West, Srdjan Ivanovic's melodies and rhythms boldly demonstrate his commitment to exploratory, pioneering and innovative jazz.
The group has developed and performed in clubs and festivals in and around Paris and abroad, often with guest Magic Malik on flute or Christophe Panzani on saxophone, who are also featured on the album released in February 2024 on Rue Des Balkans/l'Autre Distribution.
