A special musical connection was established early on between the two artists, first around their shared passion for improvisation, then as composers as their respective creative worlds developed. Jules Regard and Vincent Forestier share the same approach to music: with no stylistic boundaries, jazz, classical, pop or world music are all part of the same whole. In terms of aesthetic influences, Bach, Debussy, Ravel and Prokofiev rub shoulders with the Beatles, Radiohead, Nick Drake, Brad Mehldau, Aaron Parks, Immanuel Wilkins and Pedro Martins.
