#Placeauxjeunes La Jam Du Dimanche De Caloé

Chico Buarque was the most distinguished—and precocious—representative of the artists of new Brazilian popular music (a blend of bossa nova, samba, jazz, rock, and protest songs against the military dictatorship). Yet, Buarque was long torn between his taste for mainstream songs and his passion for his own roots. But behind one of the country's first pop stars lies a definitive master of samba, and one of the most important songwriters, composers, and performers of his generation. And, alongside artists like Gilberto Gil and Caetano Veloso, a true citizen.
“Caloé is one of the most exciting revelations of recent seasons,” Jazz Magazine
