A special guest to celebrate music, presenting her new album Ewekedi, which translates to 'Creation' and 'The Nature of a Person'. Franco-Cameroonian artist Coco Mbassi, winner of the 1996 RFI Prize and nominated for the 2002 BBC World Music Awards, has been showcasing her many talents for decades: singer, producer, composer, translator, doctor in sociolinguistics, playwright, and author. Her music is a subtle blend of African roots, classical music, jazz, pop, and gospel with a modern, acoustic soul vibe. With her soft, smooth voice, Coco Mbassi has won generations of fans around the world: a 30-year career, four albums, one single, and one EP.
