A pianist, composer, and producer from Houston, Texas, Robert Glasper is a jazz pianist with a knack for subtle and harmonically complex compositions that also reveal a hip-hop influence. Since "Black Radio," the album that brought him to public attention, the pianist has undoubtedly shaken up the musical landscape, both jazz and hip-hop. The winner of five Grammy Awards, he has played alongside musicians such as Mos Def, Bilal, Kanye West, Jill Scott, Erykah Badu, and most notably Kendrick Lamar on his iconic album To Pimp a Butterfly. His constantly evolving career is guided by sonic exploration and the expansion of his creative scope.

Originally from the Paris region, Matis grew up in the south of France surrounded by a family of artists with a composer father and an author mother. He began his musical studies at the Perpignan Conservatory. After receiving his DEM in 2021, he decided to move to Paris, began to frequent the city's clubs and got involved in various projects. In September that same year, he joined the Pôle Supérieur de Paris Boulogne-Billancourt (PSPBB), where he is currently continuing his musical studies, notably with Martin Wangermée.
