Concert Tropical Kombi

The group is made up of four talented musicians: Hélios Martinez on guitar, Pierre Chaumié on tenor saxophone, Tom Mackenzie on double bass, and Christian Magret on percussion. Their home base is in the Goutte d’Or district, at the foot of Montmartre in Paris.

This deep connection to their neighborhood has undoubtedly enriched the diversity of their repertoire, which spans from Africa to Brazil, with stops in the Caribbean. Their music skillfully blends original compositions with jazz standards reinterpreted through Afro-Caribbean rhythms. As a result, Tropical Kombi takes its audience on a sunny, swaying journey, perfect for both dancing and daydreaming.
