Lynn Adib is a Syrian singer born in Damascus, Marc Buronfosse is a double bassist and guitarist accustomed to Parisian stages. The duo was born in the summer of 2020 during a last-minute improvised concert on the island of Paros in Greece, like a window that suddenly opened in the middle of the pandemic, crystallizing the desire to make music for an audience hungry for sounds and vibrations. This concert was a memorable moment for the duo, as for the audience, the magic immediately worked and convinced them to continue this duo and thus to consider this joint album project.



With Nearness, Lynn and Marc had set themselves several objectives: to be close to each other, to touch the soul, to enlarge the space... The voice and the bass combine, orient and jazz speak to each other. Here melody, rhythms and strings, those of the voice and those of the bass.
