Jazz Inn Barbizon 2026
The Jazz Trail
Barbizon Jazz Inn carries on the tradition of jazz clubs that uncover hidden talent.
As part of the Route du Jazz, the Jazz Inn Barbizon festival invites you to its latest edition on Friday, June 5, 2026, and Saturday, June 6, 2026
Jazz has been a part of Barbizon for over a century: no grand stages, but hotels, venues, and clubs that have brought together renowned artists for intimate concerts and free-form performances. Barbizon Jazz Inn pays homage to the famous jazz club, the Tumble Inn, founded in 1920 by an Englishman who arrived straight from New York and created one of the first American-style bars in France, where jazz music took center stage. Today, the name still hangs on the door on Rue Ménard in the village, a testament to this institution that brought together celebrities from around the world for nearly 30 years. It is in this spirit that our jazz festival in Barbizon is rooted. For this 6th edition, we seek that closeness to the stage, where the audience meets an artist in their most personal expression and intimate performance. An encounter in musical communion: that is what Barbizon Jazz Inn is all about. Following the unforgettable performances by Rhoda Scott in 2021; Stéphane Belmondo, Sylvain Luc, André Ceccarelli, and Mathias Allamane in 2022; Kyle Eastwood in 2023; Robin McKelle in 2024, and Manu Katché and Terez Montcalm in 2025, this year we welcome high-caliber Nordic jazz in the form of two magnificent performers: Lisa Ekdahl and Lars Danielsson.
For 2026, an all-Scandinavian jazz lineup!
