Author, composer and singer with multiple influences, Laura Prince summons all of her personal musical heritage to the sounds of the winds of Africa and Navarre in her album “Peace of Mine”. Jazz piano, soul melodies and Afro-Latin rhythm sections mingle with the serious and captivating voice, deep and sensual, of the young Franco-Togolese singer. She has always been rocked by world music. From the Cuban salsa of Celia Cruz, to the afrobeat of Fela Kuti and the Makossa of Manu Dibango, through the French song of Piaf, Brel and Aznavour, but also by the great committed voices of blues and jazz including Nina Simone, Dinah Washington, Ray Charles, Etta James...So many artistic influences that inspire him to create his own music. In “Peace of Mine” she comes to share her inner peace with the sounds of the musicians who accompany her
