Thierry Vaton signs his first album Bel Matjoukann, an elegance of compositions and a wide range of emotions that he transmits through his music. Martinican musician with a powerful style and accomplished technical skills.

Thierry Vaton revealed his passion in 1972. From the drums to the flute, all instruments suited him but it was the piano that made his career. A pianist with bouncy notes, Thierry puts his talent at the service of the most diverse styles and cultures. We especially know Thierry Vaton for his talent as an accompanist for artists such as Angélique Kidjo, Malavoi, Miriam Makeba and Andy Narell, so it was time to finally talk about him as a leader! With Bel Matjoukann, Thierry Vaton returns to his first love, the marriage of jazz and the Caribbean, in which he excels. And to do this, he surrounds himself with a high-level cast: Stéphane Chausse on sax, Nicolas Pélage and his powerful voice, Rody Céréyon and his magical touch on bass and Tilo Bertholo, the essential drummer on the jazz scene!

His meeting with the public is a shared journey with unique phrasing, all elegance of sound. So, prepare for the trip, make yourself comfortable, and enjoy without moderation this Bel Matjoukann with a title that could not be more justified!
