Marvin Parks : American Jazz Singer "Au Cinéma"

Marvin Parks, chanteur de jazz de Baltimore, présentera son nouveau spectacle issu des musiques de films, dans un souci de continuer à rendre hommage au Jazz, à la pop traditionnelle et au répertoire américain. Il sera accompagné par Julien Coriatt au piano, Philipp Maniez à la batterie et Samuel Hubert à la basse.

Vous avez peut-être déjà entendu sa voix dans les couloirs du métro, mais c'est désormais grâce à la scène jazz parisienne qu'il se fait connaitre, remplissant les clubs de son timbre envoûtant et de son style entrainant. Son EP, The Very Thought of You, est toujours disponible et son premier album sortira sur Schema Records à l'automne 2016.

Baltimore-born jazz singer Marvin Parks will perform songs from classic films, continuing his celebration of jazz, traditional pop, and the American Songbook. He will be accompanied by Julien Coriatt on piano, Philip Maniez on drums, and Samuel Hubert on bass.

His voice may be heard throughout the couloirs of the métro parisien, but he is becoming a familiar presence on the Paris jazz scene, filling clubs with his signature soulful, swinging style. His debut EP, The Very Thought of You, is currently available and his debut full-length album will be released on Schema Records in the fall of 2016.
