Originaire de Baltimore, il est connu pour ses performances, a cappella, dans le métro parisien et ses concerts qui ont conquis le public dans de nombreux jazz clubs parisiens comme le Café Universel, Sunset-Sunside et bien-sûr le 38 RIV.

[EN] Marvin Parks: American Jazz Singer is one part jazz concert and one part musical comedy created and developed by American jazz singer and humorist Marvin Parks and celebrates the legacy of The Great American Songbook. Originally from Baltimore("The Wire"), he is known for both his a cappella performances in the Paris métro and for his successful concerts at Paris clubs Café Universel, Sunset-Sunside, and 38 RIV.

The show, which features a jazz trio led by pianist Julien Coriatt(French by way of Guadaloupe), is filled with warmth, humor(often aimed at Parks' level of French), and many beautiful musical moments.
