What's more beautiful than the sound of a tenor saxophone ? Two sounds of tenor saxophones (!) that dialogue, challenge each other in friendly jousting or sound in chorus ... and this formula has inspired many great saxophonists in the history of jazz. The aesthetics of Men in Bop is firmly rooted in the jazz tradition of the 50s / 60s, a jazz that favors "groove" and an obvious virtuosity that never loses sight of the melodic sense and a certain lyricism. In their repertoire, rearranged great standards but also original compositions that appear in their first album, released in spring 2016.

Olivier Defays (tenor saxophone), Philippe Chagne (tenor saxophone), Philippe Petit (Hammond organ) & Yves Nahon (drums)
