Rhoda Scott " Lady " Quartet

Control, energy and deep tones, Rhoda Scott is a living myth. in the organ universe. Surrounded by two imposing Leslie speakers and at the helm of her B3 organ, she hops (barefoot of course, as the legend says) to make her keyboard groove with her « bluesy » swing, airy and striking… With, on top of all that, a large smile and great generosity to highlight French Jazz most significant jazzwomen in her Lady Quartet : Sophie Alour, Julie Saury et Géraldine Laurent. This « ladies only » formation was born at the Sunset Jazz club in Paris in 2007. The love story goes on with the Lady Quartet new album « We Free Queens », produced by the Sunset it self and his director, Stephane Portet. jazz, swing and groove !!
