Born in England of Caribbean parents, trained in church gospel, Denise Gordon has sung all over the world, from Australia to Zimbabwe to New Orleans and Buckingham Palace.

This adept of Ella Fitzgerald, Sarah Vaughan, Mahalia Jackson and Louis Armstrong deploys her talent in New Orleans styles, funk, soul, rhythm'n blues, spirituals.
