Kiko Berenguer Quartet

Kiko Berenguer likes to make his jazz emerge from his land, the south-east of Spain, both in his compositions and in the interpretation he gives. He moves away from the Jazz + Flamenco collage - which many propose - to offer an original approach: He draws from the deepest of the two musics, feeds on the roots of these two and it becomes difficult to see where one ends and where the other begins. Kiko, possessor of a powerful sound and distilling a strong emotional charge, has worked with many prominent jazzmen such as Richie Cole, Pat Metheny, Mossman P., Camilo, C. Roditi... He will offer themes frol his last two albums "Mi Camino" and "Aire".
