#Jazzdedemain Ralph Lavital - Spéciale Ultramarine
Fusion
Jazz, already mixed by definition, has never ceased to be inspired by music from around the world, but it is in the Parisian melting pot of the 80s that groups such as Sixun or Ultramarine are formed, with musicians from Europe, Africa, the Caribbean or Asia, united to invent a truly multicultural Jazz. Centerpiece of the development of world music in a register closely linked to jazz, the Ultramarine group is the rock impulse and the mishmash of melodies and rhythms of black Africa and overseas France in Dé, the second and most tonic album of the band. It rolls and whirls, carried away by Mario Canonge's keyboards and Nguyên Lê's guitar.
