Michael Joussein is a specialist in Afro-Cuban jazz, he has played with the biggest names in jazz like Wynton Marsalis, Lee Konitz, Dee Dee Bridgewater, Anga Diaz and pop like Iggy Pop or Eddy Mitchell. Last challenge of the great trombonist: revisit the French music of the early 20th century jazz and Latin music. Ravel, Debussy, Fauré, Satie, Saint-Saëns, ... are part of our musical heritage and it is a successful bet to have deviated their compositions to another style, as to breathe new life into classics that transcend genres and eras!
