La Verdine

La Verdine is a gypsy jazz quartet created in 2015.

The group takes up the traditional gypsy music of guitarist Django Reinhardt but moves towards other styles through its compositions.

Influenced by both classical and contemporary music as well as modern jazz, La Verdine offers a concert of original compositions.

The pieces in the Manouche colours are vehemently intertwined with pieces tinged of free improvisations and electronics. But La Verdine remains attached to the foundations of gypsy music, its energy.
