IBRAHIM MAALOUF

Born in Beirut in 1980, Ibrahim Maalouf is now the most popular musician in the French music scene. His work of intermingling of genres has been recognized all over the world for more than ten years.

As a teenager, Ibrahim arrived at the top of the world’s greatest international competitions and began a career as a classical soloist, but from the years 2000, spotted for his ability to color the musics of his improvisations, he became indispensable As much in pop, jazz as in the field of music called “The World”. Sting, Sadi Keita, Amadou & Mariam, Tryo, Matthieu Chédid, Lhasa de Sela and many artists of very varied styles appeal to him.

HAÏDOUTI ORKESTAR

Flamboyant brass, vivid percussion, virtuoso accordion, sweet and racy voice! Here is the Haïdouti Orkestar team, which has been wandering for twelve years on the borders of the Balkans, Turkey and the East.

Result of a surprising crossing of French, Greek, Bulgarian, Turkish and Gypsy musicians from Serbia, the Haïdouti shares his love for the music of peoples, sailing between Kurdish, Azeri, Armenian but also Gypsy and Syro-Lebanese songs. Their fourth album is the fruit of this musical babel forged through encounters and journeys to the borders of East and West.

With its notoriety, the Haïdouti Orkestar consolidates its role of ambassador of French diversity.

“After almost 10 years of collaboration, I wanted to make this little summer tour with Haïdouti Orkestar, composed of musicians coming from all over Europe. Eastern Europe, North Africa, Northern Europe, Andalusia, Middle East, etc. ”
