Nouvel album : "Tous les peuples"
World
Breakz presents:
The saxophonist Gaël Horellou presents his new album «ALL PEUPLES», a new dialogue between maloya, traditional Reunion music, and today’s jazz.
Following on from the first volume «IDENTITE» released in 2017, Gaël Horellou explores the harmonies of American jazz and mixes them with the songs and percussions of maloya, thus proposing a real encounter between these two «black music».
An identity to look for somewhere between a corrugated tin box roof and Brooklyn’s red brick.
Part 1:
In the first part, French-Malagasy bassist Gabrielle Randrian-Koehlhoeffer presents her project «Gasy Jazz Project» bringing together three musicians with multiple musical worlds. A repertoire of personal compositions between
Gael Horellou (Saxophone alto), Florent Gac (Orgue Hammond), Nicolas Beaulieu (Guitar), Vincent Philéas (Percussions, Voice), Vincent Aly Béril (Percussions, Voice), Fredo Ilata (Percussions Voice)
