Clelya Abraham

Coming from a family of musicians, Clélya Abraham very early developed a passion for composition. Little by little, her efforts are concentrated around the piano, the young musician feeling more intimate with the instrument that allows her to create. At the age of 18, she turned particularly to Jazz, Nu Soul and World Music (Africa, Caribbean, Reunion, Brazil), styles in which she flourished thanks to the freedom given by the improvisation.

Following numerous meetings during her years of study at the CRR in Paris, then at the Didier Lockwood Music Center, and after a year of residency at the Baiser Salé Jazz-Club, the young pianist is at the beginning of a career in full expansion . She multiplies the concerts in various projects, as leader or sidewoman (Abraham Trio, Maë Defays, Crafting quintet, Teddy Sorrès, Ora project, etc ...).

This second year of residency is therefore an opportunity for her to deepen her various projects, but especially to continue to explore and share new experiences, with renowned musicians like Arnaud Dolmen, Tilo Bertholo, Natural Balthazar, Selene Saint-Aimé , Samuel F'hima, Antonin Fresson ...
