Xavier Belin Trio Hommage à Paulo & Gilles Rosine

Like his elders Alain Jean Marie, Mario Canonge, Gregory Privat, Ronald Tulle, Xavier is a young pianist, composer, Caribbean arranger kneaded with talent. He began playing piano at the age of seven, and traveled greedily along the paths of discovering the traditional music of his island and jazz thanks to the meetings and concerts he attended at Lycée Bellevue. Arrived in Paris in 2011, he is major of his promotion to the IMEP in 2015.

The pianist, also at the head of the quartet Pitakpi won the Audience Award and the Jury Prize at the prestigious 2019 Golden Jazz Trophy.

Xavier pays homage to the composer and pianist of the mythical group of Martinique "Malavoi" Paulo Rosine is undoubtedly a great musician in the musical history of Martinique.His Neveu Gilles, less known outside the island, is a excellent pianist who has created his own style while mastering that of his predecessors.
