Ellinoa / Gauthier Toux Duo

For her fifth year at the Baiser Salé, Ellinoa has decided to invite each time a different musician whose work she particularly admires, for an unprecedented meeting on compositions, rearranged or completely unpublished.
Gauthier Toux is a young pianist with an impressive track record; laureate of the Jazz à la Défense competition, elected revelation 2018 by Jazz Magazine ... and Ellinoa, influenced by Esperanza Spalding, Pat Metheny Group, Björk or Tigran Hamasyan, between melodic flights, harmonic daring and heady grooves, expressed as much by his voice, in the moment, only by his writing, signing all his words, music and arrangements. His projects are characterized by a subtle musical narrative with a place of choice reserved for both instrumental and vocal improvisation.
