Alex Freiman Quintet

Guitariste, compositeur, chanteur, Alex Freiman, avec son quartet, trouve ses sources dans les différentes musiques afro-américaines : Jazz, Rhythm ’n blues, Soul aussi bien que Gospel.

Alex Freiman had the chance to play with musicians who are now among the most in demand of the international jazz scene.

He studied music at Berklee School of Music in Boston and graduated in 2000 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in jazz composition.

This American experience allowed him to elaborate the musical concepts that are still the starting point the starting point of the  projects that he's led since.  

Since his return, he has collaborated with many french artists such as Samy Thiébault, César Poirier, Julien Alour, Olivier Témime, Géraud Portal et Stéphane Belmondo.

Commenting on listening to his latest album, Jean-Pierre Vidal writes : "I find the intimate side, "laidback" but wonderfully in place of the emblematic formations of a Grant Green with Larry Young for example; with, in a very timely way, a touch of modernity. I have the feeling of a real pleasure shared with all the musicians undeniably inspired and involved."
