With his first album Raw, the alto saxophonist and composer Rodolphe Lauretta explores unsuspected resources of the trio without harmonic instrument. Grooves with drawer, sequences borrowed from John Coltrane and Chick Corea, sophisticated themes, waves of rock, hip-hop, Afro-Caribbean rhythms draw compositions to the singular universe.
