For the first time, Jazz au Confluent is taking over the Wedding Hall of Château Gévelot for an exceptional intimate concert in the company of the man who, in France at least, brought the cello into jazz: Vincent COURTOIS. On the strength of his classical studies, he embarked on an extraordinary career around jazz which saw him collaborate with musicians from such diverse horizons as Michel Petrucciani, Michel Portal and... the Rita Mitzouko! His resolutely international trio, formed with two saxophonists, the German Daniel ERDMANN, and the British Robin FINCKER, also on clarinet, will make us discover a creative music built on strong complicities, the balance of personalities and energies, the impact of contrasts, ideas of sound, images, uncertainties and silences.
Wedding hall, Château Gévelot
3 place Jules Gévelot, 78700 Conflans Ste Honorine.

Free entrance for Jazz members at the Confluent or support 7,00 € for non members.
