During the Festival Jazz-Sur-Seine 2020 and the festival Les Caribéennes de Mai #15
A preview, a father / son project, two of the most talented bassists of their generation, for 4 exceptional concerts in the heart of the groove.
Etienne Mbappé, internationally renowned bassist, with gloved fingers of fine black silk, has played with the greatest: Manu Dibango, Salif Keïta, Ali Farka Touré, Toumani Diabaté, John McLaughlin, Carlos Santana, Bill Evans, Joe Zawinul in particular and presents with his son, bassist of Mayra Andrade, Omar Pene, China Moses, Rido Bayonne or even Mokhtar Samba, a brand new project. Once again, he makes us the first to come and present him on our stage.
A dense, intense music which enchants, which is sung and which is danced. A mosaic of colors and delicious melodies, which draw new landscapes, a world without borders, openness, peace.
