Laurent Coq - Dialogue

Dialogue is the tenth disc under its name by pianist composer Laurent Coq. It is the meeting with the guitarist Ralph Lavital who was his student in composition class at the Edim at the beginning of 2010 - and through him the discovery of the singer Nicolas Pelage who writes the texts in Creole - which is at the origin of this adventure. These two young musicians of West Indian origin have been a fertile source of inspiration for the development of an entirely new repertoire which combines New York, European and Caribbean influences. Since 2013, the group has performed on the stages of many African countries (Mali, Burkina Faso, Benin, South Africa, Namibia, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Kenya, Ethiopia), several islands in the Indian Ocean (Mauritius, Seychelles , Madagascar) as well as in several cities of North America (Toronto, Boston, New York, Atlanta, New Orleans).
