PARIS JAZZ-CLUB PRESENTS IN PARTNERSHIP WITH ADAMI
JAZZ-SUR-SEINE 2020 SHOWCASES EVENING
Title of an Amerindian poem, SKY LOOM means "loom dependent on the Earth in Heaven". This album is about action, beyond saying and emotion. It is the soundtrack of the cultural and educational project "TEXT'ILES", the objective of which is to rediscover the art of weaving in Guadeloupe and the Caribbean. Beginning of a new story, builder, poetic, this opus was born from the desire of the singer to bring to life a forgotten know-how, that the Amerindians, Africans and Indians have hardly had the leisure to perpetuate in the Antilles. Traditional Guadeloupe (Mende, Kaladja, Toumblak, Biguine ...), Martinique (Mazouk) or Latin (Boléro, Bossa) rhythms are honored by an impressive team of creativity and talent.
