Thomas Ibanez Quintet

On the front line, the formation brings together two saxophonists accomplices and bebop specialists: Thomas IBANEZ and David SAUZAY.  In the boiling rhythm section we find with joy a luxury accompanist, Pierre CHRISTOPHE whose piano playing is inspired by the masters from across the Atlantic: Jaki Byard, Oscar Peterson, or Erroll Garner, and finally, completing the rhythm section, Nicola SABATO on double bass, and live from his Viennese stronghold, Bernd REITER on drums. A season opening that will blow your mind to defeat the COVID blues.
